Post Did Sync Update now Phone won't stay connected Via Bluetooth
I performed the Sync update and it said it all went well on both the Flex and on the computer. Today when taking the kids to school my phone kept disconnecting. It's been raining her in So Cal, not sure if that could be it or if it's the update. Anyone with similar problems?

I also tried to delete the phone and then re add it. Now it won't let me add the phone. Says it can't find a device. My phone recognizes the Sync and tries to pair but says pair failed.

I am in the same boat. I upgraded to SYNC 2.1 before Christmas and just this week lost the Bluetooth connection. I thought it might be my phone had gone bad. Sync was dropping the Bluetooth so I deleted and tried to re connect the phone. After I type in the pin it thinks for a minute and then reports PAIRING FAILED. Up until now it has been working great.

It was also the same day I registered to use VEHICLE HEALTH.

SyncMyRide's website says I have Sync version 3.01. 3.1 is available but Sync ts said "if everything is working like it should, I suggest not updating". Sounds like he knows v3.1 is problematic. I had already read all the complaints about the newest version and had no intentions to update. Hope they get a fix out for it soon!

I went to the Syncmyride website and followed some of their trouble shooting. They suggested that I go to the Phone menu and select Settings/Advanced/Master Reset. I did this and then tried to pair my phone with my car. It paired on the first try and connected to my Flex. I was able to make a call and receive a call. On the ride home from picking up the kids no more issues with disconnecting. It seems to be working fine, I hope this was the fix for it.

I have the same problem with the upgraded. Sometime my phone does not answer the phone when NAV is active. It is very typical of Microsoft program, usually very buggy.

Same problem here too. I followed syncmyride's directions to the letter, even deleting my saved bluetooth connection from sync system and my phone before the sync system upgrade, then re-pairing them after upgrade. Now my bluetooth connection just drops sometimes for no reason. It never did this before the sync upgrade.

My phone sync’d like a champ today after a two week hiatus.

I have an LG Chocolate phone. Sync was working great with Bluetooth for six months then died about two weeks. Would not connect with blue tooth. Thought I tried everything and all the tricks. Even called SYNCMYRIDE. Finally tried my Wife’s Blackberry and it synced to Sync without a problem so it was my phone. Found these directions for the phone

Turn off Bluetooth on the phone
Turn Off phone
Remove battery
Replace Battery
Turn on phone
Turn on Bluetooth
Sync Sync

And the phone synced up with no problem. The only step I had left off before was I did not turn off the blue tooth before turning off my phone and removing the battery. I hope I get six more months of flawless Bluetooth Connectivity.

I too am having phone issues. Flex purchased last Wed. Salesman hooked up our phones. Unfortunately, both are same model so we couldn't tell which was sync'd without testing them.
Then, on Fri, neither would work - says pairing failed, couldn't find any phones. Have no idea which version of Sync I have. Vehicle was built in late Oct. but dealer may have updated it when they set it up for delivery. Was dealer traded from Orlando to here in Naples as I wanted an EcoBoost.

Will try all your suggestions in above posts.
This site is already paying dividends in my first session!

I'm having similar problems with my phone. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Tried to reSync it and get all sorts of error messages.

Anyone seen this video?

Don't you just want to smack her one when she smiles and tells you how easy everything works or is it just me with my anger management problem?
